The 741 Elgin Air Cadet Squadron in St. Thomas is always looking for new recruits. Applications will be accepted during the training year, September through May.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR JOINING
Have reached their 12th, but not 19th Birthday.
Be a Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant, or be an international student under the guardianship of a Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant.
Have parental or guardian permission.
HOW DO I JOIN?
Once you have made the decision to enroll with the Squadron, please print and complete the following forms. Be sure to CONTACT US with any questions.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
Proof of Age of one of the following
1. a valid Canadian passport;
- 2. a birth certificate issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal government agency; or,
- any identification card (with or without photo) issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal government agency.
Proof of Health Coverage
- 1. a valid Ontario Provincial Health Card.
To help speed up the registration process, you may wish to bring a photocopy of the health card and birth certificate documents as well as bring the completed forms into the Squadron on a Wednesday evening after 1845hr so that the administrative staff can dedicate the time to assist in the enrolment and answer any questions that you may have.
